1. Gladiator?s Bike
Designed by ? Jaewan Jeong
Enter the Gladiator?s Bike. A craft designed for a futuristic race where competitors battle it out to the finish line and win the people?s admiration.
2. Modern Twist on the Classic Peugeot
Designed by ? Madella Simone
The latest from motorcycle enthusiast Madella Simone is this design inspired by the iconic and record breaking 1934 Peugeot 515. Unlike the original 4-stroke, this modern 515 powers its rear in-wheel engine with a rechargeable lithium battery. Another unusual feature, it?s also missing the usual hub that linked fork and body; instead, it features a sphere that permits the changing of the wheelbase.
3. Dyke Concept
Designer: Imran Othman
Inspired by Dyson?s Air Multipliers, the Dyke bike (I?m serious) works on the same principles. Air flows through the bronze hollow cylinder creating an entrainment. The air is pulled, amplified by 1000000X, to pushed the bike upwards (stability) and forward (speed), all powered by electricity. The design is styled with an ?air?odynamic in mind ? sexy with a provocative elegance and unique ergonomics.
4. Let?s Kiss The Skies on a Bike!
Designer: Zvezdan Nedeljkovic
The ParaMotor Trike is the convergence of designer Zvezdan Nedeljkovic?s three passions: flying, motorcycles and designing. Well kudos to that, because his zeal has translated into the beautifully ergonomic ParaMotor Trike! An ultralight electric vehicle that goes from a scooter to an elegant powered paragliding trike, in a jiffy! It?s off to a flying start!
5. Tesla E-Max Motorcycle
Designer: Madella Simone
In standing with the name it carries, the Tesla E-max is a far-out but awesome electric motorcycle concept that features modern technologies and an unforgettable aesthetic. To supplement power to its 2 independent motors located in each wheel, the body is covered in a top layer of piezolectric material that converts compression strength into electricity and a second layer of Halite fiber that converts human heat. Pretty wild!
6. Hyundai Concept Motorcycle Stretches
Designer: Min Seong Kim
Inspired by musculature, this concept evokes a fluidic sculpture from the upper and lower sections intertwined together. The whole body is made up of materials that stretch and contract just like your muscles do and enables steering without any kind of assistive apparatus. When turning a corner, the entire body relaxes so that it can smoothly corner, and when accelerating, it contracts to form a rigid body. I?m totally intrigued by the idea. Not so sure about the design though.
7. BMW Ghost
Designer: Marko Petrovic
I love a wild-inspired design, especially when its influence is so obvious. The BMW Ghost is a glimpse into what the next generation of motorcycles will look like, and it goes without saying that animate-aesthetics are already starting to trend especially when it comes to vehicles and bikes (love it). Don?t let the gentle snowy white with blue detailing fool you- there?s a 1600 cc, 6 cylinder engine wrapped in that complex body. I?d name mine Hedwig.
Why BMW? The brand is a natural choice for forward thinking, innovative design.
8. Shavit ? Adjustable Electric Super Bike
Designer: Eyal Melnick
Besides looking just plain sexy, the Shavit electric sport motorcycle features a very unique riding position system that makes shifting from everyday upright stance to racetrack oriented lean as easy as the push of a button. Handlebars, footpads, and seat height can be adjusted independently, allowing the bike to morph from racing superbike to urban tourer. Emphasizing the lack of a bulky fuel tank, the chassis and body are kept minimal but maintain the sharp, aggressive look of its street racer inspiration.
9. Modenas bike ? Speed Demon Powered by Biofuel
Designer: Imran Othman
As the world moves away from petrol, we have to envisage what the effects will be across all motor vehicles. This concept sport Modenas bike uses biofuel, specifically palm oil to burn pavement. The design is inspired by cenderawasih, a type of bird of paradise. The resulting shape is aggressive yet fluid. It?s not my cup of tea but I know many rocket heads that would love to take this to the tracks.
10. Ducati Spite
Designer: Lorenzo Andr? Spreafico & Simone Campestre
This bike comes in red, white, or black, like any good motorcycle should. Its description is presented to us as a mostly poetic sort of situation, naming ?Style&Skills? as a main point, noting soft lines around a technological core, saying that this motorcycle concept, the Ducati Spite, has two souls. One of the souls is extreme simplicity, they say, and the other, a full detailed concept. Like the black and white of the wheels.
There?s several ways you can ride the Spite, a couple of them being City and Sport, both of these thanks to its variable suspension. This bike they say shall get both the extremeness of a one-sit bike, and the comfort of a city maxi scooter. Urban and freestyle, extreme every day.
11. 900 SD
Designer: Paolo De Giusti
The ?900 SD.? Style inspired by the old Moto Guzzi productions single cylinder bikes. Designed to be ?romantic.? Deliberately limited in aerodynamic protection, forcing the rider to lie down on the tank whilst driving. Engine is a single cylinder 903 cc with direct injection and turbo diesel ? for RACING FAST. Form IS function in this project, each element in place for a specified purpose.
12. Tron Light Motorcycle
Designer: Wallace Campbell
This project is simply an exercise in enjoyment with designer Wallace Campbell following what he sees as the essential elements included in a Light Cycle, bringing unto the world another iteration with super sweet bright lights and blackness, all you could ever want.
13. Bugatti startos
Designer: Bruno Delussu
Star Wars influence? Inspiration taken from Daniel Simon? Yessir, indeed. This is a motorcycle concept going by the name ?Bugatti startos? designed by Bruno Delussu. This name, Bugatti startos, means ?Snake Road,? a fabulous name for a rather snake-like automotive. With a body made of fiberglass to make the entire thing light, setting the rider in the same place as a racing bike (lying on the bodywork,) and a cute traditional speedometer.
14. Custom Bike Concept
Designer: Jean Baptiste Robilliard
If you are planning on being an urban crime fighter but still can?t justify the gas guzzling tendencies of most superhero vehicles, well your ride has (conceptually) arrived. Designer Jean Baptiste Robilliard has rendered up this ?CUSTOM BIKE CONCEPT? that would make Bruce Wayne?s attorneys take notice. Jean Baptiste describes it as a ?two wheel muscle car?, hiding it?s electrical drivetrain and batteries in the frame. Featuring a FORMULA 1 inspired KINETIC ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEM (KERS), that essentially coverts your braking into energy.
Originally conceived as a single global design, this customizable creation could be the shape of things to come.
15. TriMove
Designer: Mohammad Ghezel
I get it- the hubless wheel has yet to reach its full technical potential, but set aside your speculation for just a moment to admire this striking trike concept. Most three 3-wheelers combine the worst of motorcycles & cars: no leaning into corners, exposure to the elements, & no lane splitting- but the narrow, tilting 3-wheeled TriMove has all the agility & aerodynamic styling you?d expect from a fierce motorcycle. It?s triangle footprint provides balance even when it?s not moving. And the three disc braking system means it requires far less braking space, making for an exceptionally fool-proof bike that doesn?t sacrifice style.
16. Saline Bird
Designers: Charles-Edouard Berche, Ugo Spagnolo , Adrien Fuinesl, Fr?d?ric Dobbelstein, Jean-Philippe Paries
Yet another air compression powered motorcycle concept from our fellow Frenchmen. The Saline Bird was designed for the quirky speed record holders, Les Triplettes de Bonneville. The air tanks and other elements are nestled snugly within it?s carbon fiber frame. Riders sit in a skier-like position to minimize air resistance and the optional leather body panel adds a nice aerodynamic finish. I hope that hand-stitched hide is ready for some serious bug gut-splatter.
17. Saline Airstream
Designers: Vincent Montreuil, Julien Cl?ment, Thomas Duhamel, Beno?t Ponton, Pierrick Huart
The Saline Airstream, designed for Les Triplettes de Bonneville, has all the markings of French peculiarity and boldness. The raw, utilitarian, stripped-down appearance has more than a hint of cafe racer. This motorcycle certainly showcases the ?savoir-faire? of the designers- fingers crossed that the rider has the same know-how.
18. 2012 LZH
Designer: Igor Chak
the most dangerous vehicle to operate on the planet is a motorcycle. Designer Igor Chak knows this fact all to well. He has designed a concept that does its best to make your two wheeled lifestyle a lot less horrifying. Incorporating every bell and whistle you can imagine into this concept, Igor has rendered up a motorcycle that would make Tony Stark rust with jealousy.
19. Hyundai Aebulle
Designer: Shane Baxley
The name of this project is the ?Hyundai Aebulle? concept car, and it?s designed by Shane Baxley. The word Aubulle, when translated directly from Korean, means ?cocoon.? When you are in the cocoon, you are definitely cocooned. A sort of lay-down seating situation with the vehicle wrapped all around you. Cruising through the streets on a luge of Aubulle. The mobility and speed of a motorcycle with a cocoon-like safety for the body of the driver. Plus super fabulous light strips.
20. 2020 Harley Davidson
Designer: Jonathan Russell
Let?s talk about the future of Harley Davidson. Motorcycles from OUTER SPACE! And what does that mean? Laser cuts. Laser cuts all over the place. Options. Wheels. Great things. All of this under the title ?2020 Harley Davidson 1,? designed by Jonathan Russell. There?s other features, like two ways to sit, greatnesses here and there, but the most fabulous of these is the Apple Computers inspired laser-etched perforations in the aluminum which gives translucency enough to let the LED lights underneath shine through.
